Blennie Diner Open for Business!

I was having trouble feeding my blennie because the frozen fish food I have is mushy, breaks apart quickly, and floats!  My gal will swim up a little to catch a morsel, but it usually gets away too fast.  I don’t want to shut down the pump every time I feed, (and that would not solve the floating problem, anyway) so am trying a solution I found on an internet blog, to put the food in a pickle jar. Worked right away! The jar narrows just enough so that the food stays put when the jar is laid on its side.Just need to see if she will be able to remember where her food is, and if my crabs will eat the leftovers tonight when they are on patrol. The Blennie does know that fingers and tongs mean food, and is not shy at all about checking both out.


The sea hares ate some of the Ulva, as evidenced by their bright green poop…
