This is a fish I found in my night fish lights at Catalina Island. The video quality is poor - it was moving around a lot, but I found it to have a forked tail and a very pointed snout, so closest ID would be Barracuda. It was a silvery fish with well developed topside pigmentation. Its eyes were prominent, important for such a fearsone predator-to-be. I could have gotten better pics but I didn't have the heart to kill it. The size of the cup was a standard plastic wine glass of that shape. Any ideas?
