OCEAN NOTES

If you have discovered this blog, it probably means you are as passionate about the ocean as I am!  While it has not been my vocation, studying all things oceanic has been my avocation since I was a little kid.  I decided it would be a good idea to record all the information, websites, etc. that I have gathered in one place, and even better to share it with others!  I plan on keeping up a list of local, mostly San Diego events and things to do. I am starting my own cold local saltwater aquarium, and will share details of that project.

 

This site will evolve as I go, with “creature of the week," breaking ocean news and research stories, informational logs about the ocean, interviews with scientists, lists of conservation groups where you can make a difference, and a list of citizen scientist opportunities. I hope you enjoy!
